HR Manager with Professional Certification - 3 years Shipping company experience is must.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Expertise in Preparing & implementing the policy and procedure.
- Perform all process of Recruiting and hiring.
- Preparing JD & SOP
- Knowledge of Using Job Boards.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employee’s files, including staff leave, attendance records (biometric), etc., and establish & maintain an HR filing system.
- Payroll preparation.
- Maintain staff visa management, including staff visa processing, renewal, cancellation, etc.
- Staying up-to-date, interpreting and advising on UAE labor law and work in close coordination with company PRO.
- Administers benefits programs such as life, health, insurance, vacation, sick leave & leave of absence.
- Keeps records of promotions, salary progress, Department change, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics.
- Plan and implement training programs
- Conduct probation review of new employees in line with the employment contract terms.
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Organize the office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Perform duties such as job descriptions, job posting and promotion and hiring analytics.
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas and minutes of the meeting.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices. Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Create a Safe Work Environment.
- Handle Disciplinary Actions.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

- MBA / Bachelor's degree in human resources or related. / Professional Certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exposure to labor law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Familiar with UAE labor laws and knowledge of HR practices.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business & communication tools.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Additional HR education and certification will be a plus
- Experienced with HR software’s so as to introduce and implement an appropriate solution for the organization.
