HR Manager – Software Company

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and strengthen our Human Resources function in a fast-growing software company. This role goes beyond routine HR operations and focuses on people strategy, compliance, talent management, performance frameworks, and organisational growth.

The HR Manager will work closely with leadership, department heads, and international stakeholders to ensure a professional, compliant, and high-performance work environment.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Leadership

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with business goals

Act as a strategic partner to senior management on workforce planning and organisational development

Establish callable HR processes suitable for a growing software company

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical roles

Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and role requirements

Ensure structured on boarding and offboarding processes

Performance Management & Employee Development

Design and manage performance appraisal systems and KPIs

Support managers in performance reviews, feedback cycles, and improvement plans

Identify training, upskilling, and leadership development initiatives

HR Operations & Compliance

Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal governance

Manage employee records, contracts, NDAs, and HR documentation

Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

Culture, Engagement & Retention

Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance company culture

Develop employee engagement, retention, and wellbeing initiatives

Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and management

Reporting & HR Analytics

Prepare HR reports, metrics, and insights for leadership

Track attrition, performance trends, hiring efficiency, and compliance

Maintain HR systems and documentation accuracy

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

5–8+ years of experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Professional, preferably in a software or IT services company

Fluent spoken and written English (mandatory)

Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance standards

Proven experience handling recruitment, performance management, and employee relations

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Ability to work with senior leadership and international teams

Preferred Qualifications

HR certifications (SHRM, CIPD, HRCI, or equivalent)

Experience in scaling teams within fast-growing or multi-location organisations

Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems

Experience working with remote or distributed teams
