Summary:
The HR & Government Relations Officer will manage all HR operations and serve as the primary liaison with Bahraini government authorities, including LMRA, SIO, NPRA, MOL, and other relevant bodies. The role ensures compliance with local labor laws, visa regulations, and social insurance requirements while supporting payroll, employee lifecycle management, and HR advisory functions.
Responsibilities:
1. Government Relations & PRO Activities

Represent the company with LMRA, SIO, NPRA, Ministry of Labour, and other authorities.

Manage employment visas (work permits, issuance, renewal, cancellation, transfers).

Handle LMRA quota management, fees, fines, and compliance reporting.

Track regulatory updates and ensure company compliance.
2. HR Operations

Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and contract management.

Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

Manage probation confirmations, contract renewals, and terminations.

Support payroll coordination (attendance, allowances, deductions).
3. SIO & Compliance

Register employees with SIO and manage ongoing contributions.

Handle SIO audits, status changes, and deregistration.

Ensure compliance with social insurance, end-of-service benefits, and statutory requirements.
4. Policy & Advisory

Advise management on Bahrain labor law, immigration regulations, and HR best practices.

Support internal and external audits related to HR and compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory:

3–7 years of HR experience in Bahrain, handling HR operations, LMRA, SIO, and visa processing.

Strong knowledge of Bahrain Labour Law.

Experience dealing with government portals and authorities.

Arabic & English proficiency (spoken and written).
Preferred:

Bahraini national (Arabic Speaking)

Experience with multinational or regulated entities.
