An HR Recruiter is responsible for finding, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates to meet an organization’s staffing needs. They act as a bridge between hiring managers and job seekers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Sourcing
- Develop and post job descriptions on job boards, social media, and company websites.
- Source candidates through databases, networking, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline.
2. Screening & Interviewing
- Review resumes and shortlist candidates.
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews.
- Assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
3. Hiring Process Management
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Collect feedback and manage candidate evaluations.
- Extend job offers and negotiate salary/benefits.
4. Employer Branding
- Promote the company as an employer of choice.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, campus drives, and recruitment events.
5. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure recruitment processes follow labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports.
6. Onboarding Support
- Coordinate onboarding activities with HR and department heads.
- Ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
