Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the recruitment function focused on hiring veterinary doctors, surgeons, and animal healthcare professionals across multiple locations. The role involves developing effective sourcing strategies, managing a team of recruiters, and ensuring timely and high-quality hiring to meet organizational needs in veterinary services and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for veterinary doctors, surgeons, para-vets, clinic managers, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with department heads and clinic managers to understand manpower requirements, job roles, and skill expectations.
  • Build talent pipelines through active and passive sourcing methods, including professional networks, veterinary colleges, job boards, and social media.
  • Conduct initial screening, coordinate interviews, and ensure timely closure of positions.
  • Handle both clinical and non-clinical veterinary hiring as per business requirements.

2. Team Leadership

  • Lead, guide, and mentor a team of HR recruiters to achieve monthly and quarterly hiring targets.
  • Allocate job requisitions, monitor team performance, and ensure adherence to hiring standards and SLAs.
  • Provide training and feedback to the recruitment team to improve efficiency and quality of hires.

3. Sourcing & Relationship Management

  • Establish partnerships with veterinary colleges, universities, and professional associations for campus recruitment and talent engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment partners and consultants specializing in veterinary talent.
  • Develop employer branding initiatives to attract qualified veterinarians and surgeons to the organization.

4. Reporting & Analytics

  • Maintain detailed recruitment MIS and dashboards on hiring progress, time-to-fill, offer-to-join ratios, and source effectiveness.
  • Analyze recruitment data and recommend strategies for improvement.
  • Report weekly and monthly hiring status to management.

5. Process & Compliance

  • Ensure recruitment activities align with organizational policies, labor laws, and medical/veterinary council guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready records of candidate documentation and hiring processes.
  • Support onboarding, credential verification, and induction of new veterinary professionals.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
