Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Coordinator (Female) to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management within the GCC region, ensuring compliance with local regulations, company policies, and international safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across project sites and offices.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar and GCC HSE regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, permits, incident records, and safety statistics.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure emergency preparedness plans are up to date.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE-related matters.
- Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of HSE experience, including significant experience in Qatar and the GCC region.
- Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Law, HSE regulations, and international safety standards.
- Experience in facilities management, construction, infrastructure, hospitality, or industrial projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa/NOC preferred.
