HSE Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly proactive HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple construction and infrastructure sites. The role ensures that all projects operate in compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international safety standards, while promoting a strong safety culture across sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs across multiple sites
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments for construction and infrastructure projects
• Identify hazards, enforce safety protocols, and recommend preventive and corrective measures
• Investigate incidents, prepare incident and accident reports, and support root-cause analysis
• Conduct safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks for site teams and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, environmental regulations, and ISO / OSHA standards
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to HSE requirements
• Maintain comprehensive HSE documentation and reports for management review
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning across sites
• Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across multiple project sites

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience as an HSE Officer in construction and infrastructure projects
• GCC experience preferred
• Certified in NEBOSH, OSHA, or IOSH
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements
• Experience handling multi-site HSE responsibilities
• Willing to travel outside UAE.
