HSE Officer

Key Responsibilities – main duties, responsibilities, and outputs of the role.

  • Comply with clients HSE division requirement.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of operational risk assessments to help in identifying & mitigating hazards for critical activities.
  • Support and guide field team in establishing and processing HSE initiatives, programs, and procedures.
  • Ensure that company HSE policies, procedures, regulations, and objectives are effectively implemented.
  • Monitor HSE Performance of Subcontractors and ensure contractual and other relevant requirements are satisfied adequately.
  • Assist with investigation of accidents, incidents (including ‘near misses’) and dangerous occurrences and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and manage HSE awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure that all critical activities are risk assessed and control measures are applied before execution.

Aptitudes / Skills / Abilities

  • Self-starter who can work independently and handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to easily adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Extensive knowledge in Safety Regulations
  • Leadership in guiding and motivating team members to follow safety protocols.
  • Strong decision making.
  • Quick response in emergency situations.
  • Well verse in auditing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
