Job Summary :
To implement and monitor Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards on projects/sites in Qatar, ensuring compliance with
company procedures, client requirements and local regulations, and promoting a proactive safety culture.
Roles & Responsibilities :

Implement and enforce the company HSE plan, procedures and site-specific risk assessments.

Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identification; ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed out.

Lead or facilitate risk assessments, JSAs and toolbox talks for routine and non-routine activities.

Monitor compliance with PTW, LOTO, confined space, work-at-height, lifting, hot work and other critical control procedures.

Conduct HSE inductions and refresher trainings for employees, subcontractors and visitors.

Report, investigate and document incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions; support root cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Maintain HSE records (inspections, trainings, permits, incident reports) and prepare periodic HSE performance reports for management and clients.
Requirements
Job-Specific Education & Certification:
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related discipline.
Certifications
-
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
-
Additional HSE certifications such as IOSH Managing Safely, first aid, fire warden, or PTW / Work Permit Receiver are an advantage.

Experience:

3–5 years of site-based HSE experience in construction, oil & gas, industrial, maintenance or similar projects (GCC / Qatar experience preferred).
