Human Resources Business Partner - Design Studio

As in the HR Business Partner (HRBP) you will acts as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. The role is responsible for driving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and compliance with HR policies and labor laws


Responsibilities:


Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve organizational performance, workforce planning, and productivity.
  • Support change management initiatives and organizational development programs.


Talent Management

  • Partner with line managers on manpower planning, recruitment, and selection.
  • Facilitate talent reviews, succession planning, and performance management processes.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate learning & development interventions.


Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the point of contact for employee relations matters and ensure fair, consistent handling of issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement programs and regular feedback mechanisms.
  • Support grievance handling and disciplinary procedures in line with company policies.


Performance & Development

  • Guide managers in setting clear performance objectives and conducting appraisals.
  • Support employees in creating development plans aligned with business needs and career growth.
  • Monitor and track performance improvement initiatives.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with HR Shared Services for employee documentation, payroll inputs, and HRIS updates.
  • Maintain data integrity and provide HR analytics reports to management.


Business Insights

  • Analyze HR metrics (attrition, absenteeism, headcount trends, etc.) to identify patterns and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to business reviews with data-driven HR insights and action plans


Here is what you will need -


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s preferred.
  • Min 10 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in the Construction Design Studio and Consultant sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices for professional/technical staff.
  • Proven expertise in compliance, employee relations, and HR policy development.
  • Familiarity with UAE (or relevant country) labor law and consultancy industry requirements.
  • HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM, CHRM) are an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to manage professional/technical staff relations
  • In-depth understanding of consultancy operations in construction
  • Policy and compliance expertise
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills
  • Strategic HR planning
