Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary
The Human Resource Generalist supports a wide range of HR functions across the organization and serves as a key resource for employees and management. Responsibilities include recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance support, HR administration, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Administer employee orientation programs and conduct regular employee evaluations to support performance management initiatives.
  • Manage benefits administration, including health insurance, workers' compensation, and other employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, and OSHA standards.
  • Handle employee relations issues with effective conflict management strategies and foster a positive work environment.
  • Support change management initiatives.
  • Administer training & development programs to promote continuous learning and professional growth among staff.
  • Conduct payroll processing using Paylocity system. l

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law compliance.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across departments and managing employee relations.
  • Ability to manage benefits administration processes and payroll systems efficiently.
  • Skilled in conflict management, change management strategies, and performance management frameworks.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • SHRM-CP or SPHR certification preferred
  • Experience with Paylocity a plus

Pay: $54,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
