Human Resources Generalist

Duration: 06 months contract

Working Hours: Flexibility 8-6pm so it’s 8-4 or 10-6 with one hour lunch.

Job Summary:

• The contractor will need laptop provisioning and building/network access, with no company vehicle or driving requirements.
• The resource will not work on company holidays like Memorial Day.
• The interview process will include at least three candidates, conducted either virtually or on-site depending on circumstances.
• Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas.
• Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.
• Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
• May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies .
• May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a manager.

Team Structure:

• The team- Workforce management (WFM) created a requisition for an HR Generalist position in Austin, Texas.
• The role will support call center coverage and general HR services during staff absences and recent departures.
• Key requirements include flexibility to work between 8am-6pm , on-site presence 5 days per week, and experience with Salesforce and Workday systems .
• The position requires high school education minimum with at least one year of relevant experience, though the team expressed willingness to train qualified candidates.

• Background in Salesforce or workday would be helpful.
• Phone skills
