HVAC Service Dispatcher

Job Overview

We are hiring a Service Dispatcher to manage scheduling and customer communication for our HVAC, generator, and propane services. This position plays a key role in keeping our technicians busy, routes efficient, and customers taken care of.

The ideal candidate is a people person, highly organized, and comfortable handling a high volume of calls while managing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with service requests
• Schedule and dispatch technicians using Housecall Pro
• Coordinate daily schedules based on technician availability and job priority
• Communicate with technicians throughout the day to ensure jobs stay on track
• Provide customers with appointment times and updates
• Handle rescheduling, cancellations, and urgent service calls
• Enter and manage job details accurately in the system

Requirements

• Strong phone and communication skills
• Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service experience required
• Dispatching or scheduling experience preferred (HVAC or home services is a plus)
• Comfortable using computers and scheduling software
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
