Hydro water draftsman

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hydro Water Draftsman to prepare detailed technical drawings and drafting support for water supply, drainage, irrigation, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of civil and MEP drafting standards, along with hands-on experience using CAD software to create accurate layouts and construction-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for water supply, sewerage, stormwater, and irrigation systems.
• Draft piping layouts, pump room plans, schematics, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Ensure drawings comply with local water authority regulations and engineering standards.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to revise and update drawings.
• Create as-built drawings after project completion.
• Maintain drawing documentation and file management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Drafting Technology (or relevant field).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar drafting tools.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic networks, piping systems, and water infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and site data.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with water utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of GIS, Revit MEP, or hydrology software (plus point).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
