Import Coordinator

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Imports Coordinator to support our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of inventory management, international shipping, and supply chain processes, along with 1–2 years of relevant experience. This position plays a key role in coordinating with global suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate import of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with basic inventory management tasks and update relevant systems accordingly.
  • Utilize Excel to prepare Purchase Inquiry, comparisons and issue subsequent Purchase orders to shortlisted vendors
  • Coordinate all import activities, including documentation, shipment tracking, and follow-ups.
  • Communicate with international suppliers via email to obtain shipping schedules, documentation, and product details.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including the sales team and department head, to gather necessary information related to incoming shipments.
  • Ensure all shipping and customs documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.) are complete and accurate.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents in the UAE to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
  • Utilize Excel to prepare reports, track shipments, and maintain records.
  • Use Tally for inventory or shipment data entry, if required (training will be provided if needed).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Graduate degree
  • Experience: 1–2 years in an import/export, logistics, or supply chain-related role.
  • Knowledge:
  • Basic understanding of international shipments, customs clearance procedures, and related documentation.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and supply chain coordination.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively coordinate with global suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience with Tally is preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a dynamic work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
