Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Import Documentation & Customs Clearance Executive to manage end-to-end import operations, customs documentation, and coordination with internal teams, clients, and external agencies. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of customs processes, import regulations, and hands-on experience in ICEGATE, tariff notifications, and international logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Import Documentation & Customs Clearance

  • Handle complete import documentation processes including BOE filing, IGMs, and checklist preparation.
  • Oversee the entire customs clearance process for air, ocean, and land shipments.
  • Submit all types of Bills of Entry (BOE) on ICEGATE.
  • Perform customs duty calculations and manage COO (Certificate of Origin) shipments.
  • Prepare and submit SEZ BOEs and statutory certificates such as SIMS, CHIMS, NFMIMS, and PIMS.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with clients to understand and fulfill import/shipping requirements.
  • Liaise with customs clearance departments, delivery agents, transporters, and port personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work closely with overseas agents for shipment status updates and documentation accuracy.
  • Interact with vendors to resolve issues affecting delivery and documentation.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain and update Daily Status Reports (DSR) for import shipments.
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Handle the arrangement of payment for import bills and collect delivery orders from shipping lines and freight forwarders.
  • Support all departments to ensure seamless operational workflows.
  • Maintain Profit & Loss statements for the import operations department.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of import procedures, customs documentation, and tariff notifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience with ICEGATE, LogiSys, and related import documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and work under time-sensitive demands.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
