Interior Designing -Construction

Job Summary

Interior Designer will lead and manage interior design concepts, detailed drawings, material selections, and execution coordination for high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, and corporate projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Concept Development & Design

• Develop innovative interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning.
• Prepare conceptual sketches, 2D/3D designs, and color/material palettes.
• Present design proposals to clients and management.

2. Detailed Drawings & Technical Documentation

• Prepare and review detailed drawings:
• ✔ Plans, elevations & sections✔ Joinery details✔ Ceiling & lighting layouts✔ Furniture layouts✔ Material specifications
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and local regulations.3. Material Selection & Vendor Coordination
• Select finishes, fabrics, flooring, tiles, lighting, joinery materials, and furniture.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors for samples and approvals.
• Evaluate and finalize material submittals.

4. Site & Construction Coordination

• Attend site visits, verify design implementation, and ensure quality compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, MEP teams, and contractors.
• Resolve design issues, clashes, and discrepancies during execution.

5. Client Interaction & Presentations

• Manage client meetings, understand requirements, and propose suitable design solutions.
• Prepare high-quality presentations and 3D visuals for approvals.

6. Fit-Out & Joinery Expertise

• Strong experience in custom furniture, carpentry details, wall finishing, gypsum works, and joinery shop drawings.
• Coordinate with joinery workshops for fabrication accuracy and timelines.

7. Project & Team Management

• Lead and mentor junior designers and draftsmen.
• Ensure project design timelines and deliverables are met.
• Support project costing and BOQ preparation from design drawings.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong creativity with advanced design thinking.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, Revit (optional), Photoshop.
• Deep knowledge of materials, finishes, and fit-out processes.
• Understanding of MEP integration with interiors.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to BD700.000 per month
