Position: Interior & Fit-Out Engineer

Job Summary:

The Interior & Fit-Out Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and executing interior fit-out works to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural, interior design, and shop drawings.

Plan and supervise all interior fit-out activities, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, and finishing works.

Coordinate MEP works with interior construction activities.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labor.

Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Conduct site inspections and quality checks.

Coordinate material approvals, deliveries, and installations.

Attend client, consultant, and project coordination meetings.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues.

Prepare snag lists and oversee project handover activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.

3–7 years of experience in interior fit-out projects.

Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, construction methods, and finishing works.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per hour
