site engineer (fit out)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations on-site. You will ensure that all fit-out and interior works are executed according to approved shop drawings, project schedules, and the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day on-site operations, including joinery, gypsum, painting, flooring, and glass works.
• Quality Control: Enforce quality standards, conduct thorough inspections, and ensure proper snagging and rectification before handover.
• Drawing Interpretation: Review and interpret architectural, structural, and interior finishing drawings to ensure execution matches specifications.
• Resource Management: Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors, carpenters, and laborers on-site.
• Material Coordination: Verify site dimensions, track material deliveries, and manage stock to avoid project delays.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols across the construction site.
• Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• Experience: 1 to 6 years of proven UAE experience in supervising interior fit-out and joinery projects.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of joinery details, fit-out materials, and site installation processes.
• Licenses: Valid UAE Driving License is highly preferred.
• Soft Skills: Ability to resolve technical issues on-site quickly and independently.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
