Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to oversee and manage our inventory operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling a high volume of daily transactions, with a minimum of 2,000 transactions per day. The Inventory Controller will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring product availability, and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory control system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all records.
2. Transaction Handling: Process, track, and reconcile a minimum of 2,000 daily transactions, including receiving, stocking, and issuing items.
3. Stock Monitoring: Continuously monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
4. Supplier Relations: Coordinate with Purchaser to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to orders, shipments, or quality.
5. Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and condition of received items.
6. Reporting: Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics for management.
7. Inventory Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and reduce carrying costs.
8. Process Improvement: Analyze current inventory management processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and company policies.
10. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, warehousing, and logistics, to optimize inventory flow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, with a minimum of 5 years in a high-transaction environment (Daily transactions between 1000 to 2000).
- High Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven work Experience in any of the below ERPs: Odoo Enterprise, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication.
- Knowledge of inventory best practices and industry standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
