Stryde is the first regulated digital platform redefining access to sports, media, and entertainment by allowing individuals and institutions to seamlessly invest in one of the most exciting asset classes. As Investment Director, you’ll lead the sourcing and execution of investment opportunities across established and emerging clubs, leagues, tournaments and much more.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal Origination & Sourcing: Identify high-potential deals across sports and culture through direct relationships, accelerators, advisors, and industry events;
• Due Diligence & Evaluation: Conduct deep qualitative and quantitative assessments including financial modeling, market analysis, technical review, and founder evaluation;
• Transaction Execution & Structuring: Lead negotiations, term sheet development, legal coordination, and successful deal closure;
• Portfolio Management: Support asset and team growth post-investment, helping structure governance, track performance, and potentially act as a board advisor or interim exec;
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to broader investment strategy and allocation frameworks, helping shape a new asset class;
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with founders, co-investors, fund managers, and internal stakeholders. Present to investment committees and Stryde’s investor base
• Exit Strategy & Value Realization: Develop and execute exits or liquidity solutions that maximize investor returns.

Requirements

• 7+ years in private equity, venture capital, consulting, corporate development, or investment banking, with a strong track record of closing deals and managing portfolios;
• Strategic thinker with high commercial acumen;
• Strong analytical and modelling skills;
• Highly entrepreneurial and able to think outside the box as this is not a corporate job;
• Tech savvy with a strong knack for product;
• Deep curiosity and passion for sports and entertainment is a must.
