Sungi Development Foundation invites sealed quotations from eligible and registered firms for the construction of Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting and Groundwater Recharge Well schemes in District Okara. Detailed BoQs and scheme designs can be downloaded from the link below.

Sungi Development Foundation, a leading non-governmental organization, extends invitation to contractors in Islamabad and Punjab to submit quotations for procurement and delivery of the following Schemes:

Important Note:

• Vendors may place quotations for some or all of the Schemes listed. Sungi retains the right to selectively delete items from this list at our discretion at the time of purchase.
• The issuance of this invitation does not constitute an award commitment on the part of Sungi, nor does it commit Sungi to pay for the costs incurred in the preparation and submission of a quotation.
• Payment would be made through crossed cheque after complete and satisfactory completion/delivery of the assignment & withholding tax (as per Govt. Law) will be deducted at source.

QUOTATION PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS FOR VENDORS

The Quotation must include:

* Prices should be submitted in Pakistan Rupees (PKR).

The quoted prices must be exclusive of all taxes.

• Vendor’s National Tax Number (NTN).
• Vendor’s General Sales Tax Number (GSTN).

Procedure for submitting the Quotation:

• Quotation must be submitted on the letterhead.
• Quotation must be submitted in a sealed envelope.
• Quotation must be submitted by 16:00 hours of the last day of the competition.
• Quotation must include all of the information listed above. If a quotation is missing any of this information, it may be disqualified from the quotation process.

Sungi will:

• Make a decision regarding the vendor on a basis of the best combination of the following factors:
• Price · Quality · Terms of payment · Delivery schedule
• Reserve the right to reject any and all quotations received.
• Review all quotations by an internal Procurement Committee.
• Respond to all quotations by fax or by phone within three weeks of the deadline and once all the necessary Sungi internal procedures have been completed.
• Reserve the right to make changes to the above-specified quantities, up until the time that the final awards are concluded.
• Follow the ensuing terms of payment for the commodities: Sungi will issue a crossed cheque to supplier upon delivery of goods and/or completion of services. Cash payments will not be made. Payments will be made in Pakistan

By signing this invitation to quotation; I confirm that,

• Conflict of Interest:

I have considered any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may arise in relation to participating in this invitation to quotation. I acknowledge that a conflict of interest includes, but is not limited to, any personal, professional, or financial interest that could influence, or be seen to influence, my ability to participate in this invitation to quotation in an impartial and objective manner.

I confirm that I have disclosed any conflicts of interest in writing as part of my quotation. I understand that failure to disclose any conflict of interest, or any attempt to conceal such a conflict, may result in disqualification of my quotation, termination of the contract, and/or other actions as deemed appropriate by the Sungi Development Foundation.

Furthermore, I commit to immediately inform any conflicts of interest that may arise during the supply of goods/services under this quotation and taking appropriate steps to mitigate them.

• Compliance with Legal and Ethical Standards:

I, my business, and my business partners are not involved in, nor do we support, any activity that is considered illegal by the Government of Pakistan or any activity that may be classified as a ‘terrorist activity.’ I further affirm that neither I, nor any individual or entity affiliated with my business, has engaged in any unlawful activities that could harm the security, peace, or integrity of the country, its people, or its institutions.

I understand that such activities may include, but are not limited to, acts of terrorism, extremism, or other criminal offenses as defined under Pakistani law, and I commit to abiding by all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Furthermore, I acknowledge the serious legal and ethical responsibilities in relation to participating in this invitation to quotation, and I understand that failure to comply with these requirements may result in disqualification of my quotation, termination of the contract, and/or other actions as deemed appropriate by the Sungi Development Foundation.
