IT Support Officer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Officer to join our company. The ideal candidate will manage, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, ensure smooth technology operations, and provide advanced technical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, software, and updates on desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for employees, including printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Provide remote support using AnyDesk and other remote access tools.
• Assist in setting up new devices, software installations, and system upgrades.
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity, including LAN/WAN, routers, and switches.
• Ensure system security by installing updates, patches, and antivirus software.
• Manage backups, recovery processes, and basic data protection measures.
• Support email systems, cloud platforms, and productivity software.
• Maintain IT inventory, document technical issues, and provide reports on system performance.
• Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and reduce downtime.
• Assist in training staff on IT best practices and software usage.
• Research and suggest new technologies or solutions to improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in IT support, system administration,
• Advanced knowledge of Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in remote support tools like AnyDesk.
• knowledge of networking, including routers, switches, and TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with security measures, antivirus software, and system updates.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral devices effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills to assist non-technical staff.
• Willingness to learn and implement new technologies.
