IT/Ecommerce Specialist

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and training to end-users, troubleshooting issues and offering guidance on best practices for using IT systems and software.

Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials to facilitate user adoption and self-service.

Troubleshooting or replacing damaged PCs, Laptops and other electronic devices and purchasing new gadgets required for new employees.

Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of software applications necessary for Ecommerce operations, such as e-commerce platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and inventory management systems.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to customize and optimize software solutions to meet business requirements.

Conducting data analysis to gain valuable insights into Ecommerce performance, including sales figures, traffic patterns, and customer behaviour.

Creating and maintaining the websites using WordPress, Shopify and WooCommerce, including the migration and hosting. Purchase and maintain the domains.

Conducting regular testing of the Ecommerce platform to ensure its functionality, usability, and performance meet high standards.

Keeping up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the Ecommerce and IT industry.

Look after the servers & settings for Wifi, internet and the PBX connections. Look after the firewalls and take care of the security.

Checking the amazon s3 account regularly.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT management, preferably in an eCommerce or digital retail environment.

Skills in systems administration, network management, database administration.

Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WordPress), CRM systems, and other relevant software applications, Microsoft office tools, Cloudflare, AWS S3,and some hosting providers.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ReactJS, and basics of networking and server management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
