ITSM Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ITSM Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, ensuring efficient handling of service requests, incidents, and changes. The role focuses on supporting system stability, implementing configuration updates, and managing a high volume of changes once the platform is stabilized. The administrator will work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery aligned with ITIL best practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer and maintain ITSM tools and platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, etc.)
  • Manage and implement change requests in a controlled and efficient manner
  • Handle high volumes of system updates and configurations post-stabilization
  • Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
  • Configure workflows, forms, and modules within the ITSM platform
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues
  • Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements and integrations
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, changes, and processes
  • Ensure compliance with ITSM governance and best practices

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experience working with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.)
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks
  • Ability to manage and implement bulk changes efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of workflows, scripting, or configurations is a plus
  • Good communication and coordination skills

POTENTIAL BACKGROUND

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in ITSM Administration / IT Support
  • Experience handling change management and system configurations
  • Exposure to enterprise IT environments
  • Experience in platform stabilization and post-deployment support is an advantage

CERTIFICATIONS (MANDATORY/PREFERRED)

  • ITIL Foundation – Preferred

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

  • Arabic or Non-Arabic Speaker
