Junior Engineer - Maintenance

Job Responsibilities:

• Scheduling of repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipments to ensure continues production operations
• Directing maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continues supply of Electricity, Air & water.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance of production & utility equipments as per Schedule.
• Maintaining minimum inventory of electrical spare parts as per requirement.
• Raising requestion for the tools, spares, equipments according to requirement.
• Identification & resolving of breakdown in timely manner.
• Adherence to safety standards and regulations, including electrical lock-out/tag-out procedure and knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Monitor and maintain the critical spare parts list to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime.
• Must be able to read the Electrical drawing .
• Responsible for ensuring GMP implementation in plant during maintenance activity.
• Evaluating and maintaining the MTTR & MTBF data of all plant equipments.
• Carry out regular maintenance of the CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Should be able to undertake any other tasks directed by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• To attend the breakdowns of all production equipments i.e. Injection moulding machines,IV set,Syringe Assembly machines,Needle Assembly machine,CPD machine,Extrusion area machines,Packing machines and Sterilizers.
• Execution of Preventive Maintenance of Injection moulding machines,IV set,Syringe Assembly machines,Needle Assembly machine,CPD machine,Extrusion area machines, Packing machines,all utility Equipments and Sterilizers.
• Operation and maintenance of Air Compressors,Air Dryer,Chiller,RO water system,Cooling tower,DG set,ETP and all HVAC system.
• To ensure the availability of all production machine for all time readyness for production.
• Monitoring and evaluation of power consumption data on daily basis.
• Monitoring and saving of Power consumption of the plant.
• Maintain annual budget of maintenance department.
• Ensure zero safety and quality observation inside plant.
• Ensure a comprehensive breakdown is conducted in a minimum downtime and maintaining MTTR and MTBF metrics, along with complete documentation in accordance with SOPs.
• To ensure the completion of all PM activities with in timeline and complete documents as per SOPs.
• Create an effective maintenance schedule for the electrical equipments and components of the machinery.
Ensure regular maintenance and optimal functioning of the CCTV surveilance.

Competencies for the role:

• Should have a deep understanding of electrocal theory, power generation, Switchgear maintenance, and high and low voltage systems.
• Capable in attending breakdowns of production machines used in the plant.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, including experience with electrical system interfaces with plant equipment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
