Junior QS / Estimation Engineer – Joinery & Fit-Out

We are a turnkey joinery and fit-out company specializing in custom joinery, interior fit-out, and turnkey project execution across commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors. We are looking for a motivated Junior QS / Estimation Engineer to support our estimation and project coordination team.

Key Responsibilities

• Study tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for joinery and fit-out works.
• Assist in preparing project cost estimates and quotations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
• Support preparation of BOQs and tender documents.
• Maintain updated material and supplier cost databases.
• Assist in variation costing and project cost tracking.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams.
• Prepare comparison sheets and commercial summaries.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in joinery and fit-out estimation/QS.
• Basic understanding of joinery materials, finishes, and fit-out processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• UAE experience is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in quantity calculations.
• Knowledge of market material rates and suppliers.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Team player with willingness to learn.
