Kitchen Supervisor

Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the efficient preparation of food, and guaranteeing strict adherence to all health and safety standards. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality services for catering, events, and other functions, requiring excellent coordination and collaboration with the chefs and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Daily Oversight: Supervise all aspects of kitchen operations and cooking, cleaning, staff management) to ensure smooth and efficient performance.

Food Quality and Preparation

Ensure that all food prepared meets established recipes, presentation standards, and hygiene regulations. Conduct tasting and inspection to maintain high food quality

Staff Management

Delegate tasks to kitchen staff and monitor their performance. Provide necessary training and guidance.

Health and Safety (Hygiene & Sanitation): Strictly enforce all local and company food safety and hygiene regulations. Regularly inspect the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and storage areas.

Inventory and Stock Control :

Manage the inventory of ingredients, place orders, and check incoming supplies. Ensure food waste is minimized.

Coordination

Work closely with the Head Chef and other management staff to plan menus for special events and functions.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of all kitchen equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
