Landscape Draughtsman

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Landscape Draughtsman to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and visually compelling landscape plans, technical drawings, and schematics that bring outdoor spaces to life. Duties

• Develop detailed landscape drawings, plans, and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or ArchiCAD to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Create 3D models and visualizations with SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, or 3ds Max to provide realistic representations of landscape designs.
• Collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and clients to interpret project requirements and translate concepts into precise technical drawings.
• Prepare construction documentation including details for grading, planting layouts, irrigation systems, and hardscape elements.
• Utilize Bluebeam for markup reviews and document management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in system design and graphic presentation to enhance project proposals and client presentations.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations while maintaining high-quality drafting standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, or ArchiCAD is essential.
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling tools including SketchUp, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds Max is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of landscape architecture principles, construction processes, and schematic design is required.
• Familiarity with graphic design software and system design techniques to produce compelling visual presentations.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics related to mechanical systems or interior design as needed for integrated projects.
• Excellent drafting skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in producing construction-ready documents.
