Lawn & Ornamental Spray Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lawn & Ornamental Spray Technician to join our growing landscaping team. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently or in a pair, accurately diagnose turf and ornamental issues, and apply treatments safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Apply lawn and ornamental fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides using Z-Spray and Toro SprayMaster equipment
• Mix and handle chemicals safely and in accordance with all regulations and label instructions
• Operate and maintain an Isuzu spray truck
• Diagnose and identify common turf and ornamental insects, weeds, and diseases
• Recommend and implement proper treatment plans
• Monitor property conditions and adjust applications as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Ensure all equipment is clean, calibrated, and in proper working condition

Skills

• Proven experience in lawn and ornamental fertilization and pest control
• Hands-on experience with Z-Spray and/or Toro SprayMaster equipment (required)
• Experience mixing and applying chemicals safely
• Experience driving and operating a spray truck (Isuzu preferred)
• Strong knowledge of common lawn and ornamental insects, diseases, and treatments
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Applicable state certifications/licenses (preferred or required based on location)
