KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

General

· Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements (e.g., service agreements, NDAs, supplier contracts, partnership agreements).

· Identify legal risks, ambiguities, and compliance concerns within contracts.

· Ensure all agreements align with company policies, local regulations, and commercial objectives.

· Conduct legal research on regulatory issues affecting business operations.

· Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders related to commercial transactions.

· Assist in the development and updating of legal templates, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

· Monitor compliance with relevant laws, including data protection, labor, commercial, and industry-specific regulations.

· Maintain organized records of contracts, correspondence, and legal documents.

· Track contract lifecycles, renewals, obligations, and deadlines.

· Prepare legal summaries, briefs, and executive-ready reports.

· Work closely with Procurement, Finance, HR, Operations, and Management to support contract execution and risk mitigation.

  • Translate documents between Arabic and English when required (contracts, letters, legal notices, summaries).

BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent).

· 3–4 years of experience in legal roles, preferably within corporate, commercial, or in-house legal departments.

· Proven experience in reviewing commercial agreements is mandatory.

· Strong command of Arabic and English (reading, drafting, and communication).

· Knowledge of GCC commercial and corporate laws (Bahrain, KSA, UAE preferred).

· Proficient in legal research, contract management tools, and MS Office.

Skills

· Excellent drafting and contract-review skills in both Arabic and English.

· Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify risks.

· High integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.

· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

· Strong communication and negotiation skills..
