We are looking for a highly skilled and certified Lifting Equipment Inspector to join our team, who can also competently perform the duties of a Rigger when required. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in lifting gear inspection, load testing, and both onshore and offshore lifting operations. This role requires hands‑on rigging experience, a solid understanding of industry standards, and the ability to prepare accurate reports, maintain documentation, and coordinate effectively with operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and load testing on offshore pedestal cranes and floating cranes using calibrated water bags and approved crane load charts, including both static and dynamic testing procedures.
  • Conduct inspections and perform load testing on a wide range of lifting equipment such as mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, overhead cranes, monorails, gantry cranes, drum winches, man lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, spreader beams, powered platforms, side‑boom tractors, containers, and pad eyes.
  • conduct inspections and perform load testing on a wide range of lifting equipment such as mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, overhead cranes, monorails, gantry cranes, drum winches, man lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, spreader beams, powered platforms, side‑boom tractors, containers, and pad eyes.
  • Inspect lifting gears and below‑hook equipment including wire rope slings, chain slings, web slings, hooks, shackles, and plate clamps.
  • Inspect and perform load tests for lifting equipment such as mobile cranes, crawler cranes, tower cranes, overhead cranes, monorails, gantry cranes, drum winches, man lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, spreader beams, powered platforms, side boom tractors, and containers (pad eyes).
  • Conduct function and load tests on offshore pedestal cranes and floating cranes using water bags and crane load charts (static and dynamic).
  • Deliver safety training for crane operators, forklift operators, man lift operators, riggers, and scaffolders.
  • Supervise lifting operations on offshore platforms and onshore sites, including inspection of vessel cranes, platform fixed cranes, and preparation of risk assessments and toolbox talks.
  • Coordinate with lifting inspectors and administrative staff to ensure smooth scheduling, logistics, and service delivery.
  • Manage operational and administrative activities related to lifting operations.
  • Prepare inspection reports, method statements, risk assessments, action plans, and execution plans.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and safeguard inspection instruments and tools.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring high‑quality, timely inspection services and addressing client concerns.
  • Support business development by maintaining and expanding the customer base through service quality and customer care initiatives.

Requirements

  • Relevant certifications in lifting equipment inspection (e.g., LEEA or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of lifting equipment, safety standards, and offshore/onshore lifting operations.
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and team coordination skills.
