Logistics Administrator

About the Role

Frontier Brands (part of the Journe Brands group ) is seeking a proactive Logistics Administrator to support logistics, shipping, and documentation operations within JAFZA. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth import, export, and re-export activities while maintaining full compliance with customs regulations.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in logistics, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and stakeholders efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Logistics & Shipping Coordination
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments via sea, air, and road freight
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and warehouses
  • Track shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders
  • Arrange bookings, delivery schedules, and container movements
Documentation & Compliance

Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including:

  • Commercial invoices
  • Packing lists
  • Bills of Lading / Air Waybills
  • Certificates of Origin
  • Ensure compliance with JAFZA, UAE Customs, and Free Zone regulations
  • Maintain accurate and audit ready logistics records
JAFZA & Customs Administration
  • Manage JAFZA portal transactions (gate passes, NOCs, warehouse movements)
  • Coordinate customs clearance for imports, exports, and re exports
  • Support bonded and free zone stock movements
Inventory & Warehouse Support
  • Coordinate stock receipts, dispatches, and internal transfers
  • Ensure logistics records align with warehouse systems and ERP data
Internal Coordination
  • Work closely with Frontier Brands HQ finance, sales, and supply chain teams
  • Support verification of freight, customs, and logistics related invoices
  • Proactively elevate delays, discrepancies, or compliance risks
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and international shipping processes
  • Familiarity with JAFZA operations and UAE customs procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP experience preferred
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-4 years' experience in logistics or shipping administration
  • Prior experience within JAFZA or UAE Free Zones is highly preferred
  • Experience handling import, export, and re export operations is an advantage
  • English: Fluent (written and spoken), Arabic (Desirable)
