Logistics Head (Food/Edible Oil Industry)

• Responsible for complete inbound & outbound logistics process.
• In Outbound Logistics – Management of Outgoing Material
• In Inbound Logistics – Management of Incoming Material
• Responsible for keeping close coordination with other functional departments.
• Responsible for creating policies or procedures for logistics activities.
• Responsible for analyzing & managing the necessary documentation.
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
• Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs.
• MIS Reports
• Selection, Sourcing and Arrangement of optimum mode of transportation according to need.
• Planning routes and load scheduling for multi – drop deliveries (For Roadways).
• Managing Supply Chain for distribution of goods to customers for achievement of targets within specified parameters.
• Coordinating and controlling the order cycle and associated information system.
• Responsible for complete Insurance process of goods in transportation.
• Maintain necessary health & safety standards involved in the whole process.
• Keep effective liaison with Suppliers and frequent Interactions with them.
• Site Visits on frequent basis like factory at the time of crisis or otherwise, visit at delivery point for customers as and when required, visit at accident points if required etc.
• Review the service quality and pricing of existing carriers and brokers.
• Work for new vendor development & their rating on frequent basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
