Logistics Manager

Job Summary:

The Logistic Manager will oversee the end-to-end logistics, warehousing, and export operations of the hand tool manufacturing unit. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth domestic and international shipments, compliance with export documentation, timely order fulfillment, cost optimization, and effective coordination with shipping lines, transporters, and customs authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and manage the entire logistics operations including inbound, outbound, warehousing, and transportation.

Ensure timely dispatch of export consignments as per customer schedules and order requirements.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), shipping lines, and transporters for export shipment bookings and smooth clearance.

Prepare and verify export documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

Monitor inventory levels in warehouses to ensure stock availability and minimize delays.

Implement cost-effective logistics strategies while maintaining service quality.

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and export-import (EXIM) policies.

Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships for transport and shipping services.

Track shipment movements, resolve transit issues, and communicate shipment status with customers.

Implement and monitor KPIs for logistics performance, cost control, and timely delivery.

Lead and supervise the logistics team, providing training and guidance.

Coordinate closely with production, sales, and purchase departments to align logistics with business needs.
