Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimise transportation, distribution, and warehousing processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components to manufacturing plants.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure adequate stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to meet production and customer demand.
• Oversee the scheduling and routing of shipments to minimize transportation costs and optimize delivery times.
• Monitor and track logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy.
• Implement and enforce safety and compliance standards for logistics operations, including adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback as needed.
• Continuously assess and improve logistics processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure alignment of logistics activities with business objectives.

Professional Competencies:

• Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a Chemical, Cement, Agrochem manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of transportation and warehousing best practices, including knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities, with experience in motivating and developing a diverse team of logistics professionals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using logistics management software and systems to track shipments, manage inventory, and analyse data.
• Negotiation skills pertaining to ARCs or open market negotiations
• Experience with Rake movement
• Experience in EXIM logistics

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month
