Logistics Manager

A Logistics Manager oversees and coordinates the supply chain, including the storage, movement, and delivery of goods from procurement to customer delivery, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely fulfilment

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain & Operations Oversight: Manage and coordinate the entire logistics process, from raw material acquisition to finished product delivery.
  • Inventory & Warehouse Management: Optimize inventory levels, oversee storage, and manage warehouse operations to ensure efficient stock control and product availability.
  • Transportation Management: Plan and oversee the routes and methods for incoming and outgoing deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with manufacturers, suppliers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
  • Cost & Performance Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and manage budgets to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and coach warehouse staff and other logistics personnel.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations and resolve issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or any related field.

· 7 years of experience at least in logistics field in UAE.

· English Proficiency.

· Competent Leadership & Communication skills.
