LPG Meter Reader

Job Description:

As an LPG Meter Reader Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate readings of LPG meters at residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will be responsible for data collection, performing safety checks, and maintaining accurate records for billing purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit customer locations to read LPG meters for accurate billing.
• Record and report meter readings to the central office in a timely manner.
• Conduct safety checks on LPG systems and report any potential issues or hazards.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of LPG meters.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns during site visits.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in meter reading, fieldwork, or a similar technical role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of LPG systems, meters, and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various sites.
