Maintenance Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking a TEMPORARY proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment across our manufacturing or residential sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills in a fast-paced setting, contributing directly to the overall success of our operations. This position will run from now until the end of August 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Perform electrical repairs and troubleshooting utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices.
  • Manage facilities maintenance activities including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs.
  • Support residential painting projects and perform general handyman duties to uphold facility aesthetics and functionality.
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from internal teams or residents.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards during all maintenance activities.

Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or residential environments.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding, electrical work, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated systems.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams effectively.
  • Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is advantageous.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
