Manager Finance - Special Projects

Koranga, Pakistan

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with accounting standards.
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with program teams.
  • Monitor budget utilization and provide regular variance analysis to management.
  • Ensure compliance with donor agreements and prepare timely donor financial reports.
  • Liaise with donors, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Implement and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation laws and other statutory requirements.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise and mentor finance staff, building their capacity on compliance and reporting.
  • Support program teams with financial planning, cost allocations, and grant management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA (Finance/Accounting), or related field.
  • Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in NGOs or donor-funded projects will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of donor compliance and local financial regulations.
