Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees.
- Develop staffing plans aligned with peak seasons, special events, and operational needs.
- Coordinate job fairs, campus recruitment, and community outreach programs.
- Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Address employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in a timely and fair manner.
- Develop engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention.
- Support recognition programs and team-building activities.
3. Training & Development
- Oversee onboarding, safety training, and compliance programs.
- Collaborate with operations to develop leadership training for supervisors and managers.
- Promote internal career progression and succession planning.
4. Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Administer payroll coordination, benefits, and timekeeping systems.
- Oversee workplace health & safety initiatives in coordination with operations.
5. Performance Management
- Implement performance appraisal systems.
- Support managers with coaching, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.
- Track workforce metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and engagement.
6. Compensation & Benefits
- Manage compensation structures appropriate for seasonal and hourly workforce.
- Administer employee benefits programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience; experience in hospitality, amusement parks, entertainment venues, or recreation facilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor law and employment regulations.
- Experience managing seasonal and high-volume recruitment.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
