- Develop and implement the organization’s IT roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
- Define IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent and compliant operations.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
- Oversee IT budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
2. Systems & Infrastructure Management
- Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of all IT systems, networks, and applications across the organization.
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements with minimal business disruption.
- Manage enterprise software platforms, ensuring seamless integration across departments (finance, HR, operations, etc.).
3. Information Security & Data Protection
- Establish and maintain information security policies and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor and mitigate IT risks, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee access management, network integrity, and periodic system assessments.
4. Project Leadership & Solution Delivery
- Direct the planning and execution of major IT projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Provide technical and strategic direction to cross-functional project teams.
- Approve solution architecture designs and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
5. Vendor & Contract Management
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluate and select vendors, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
- Maintain strong partnerships with technology providers and consultants.
6. People Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the IT team, including the Assistant IT Manager and technical support staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Identify training needs and implement professional development programs for the team.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between IT and business units, translating operational needs into technical solutions.
- Partner with senior management to develop and implement digital strategies that improve efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure effective communication of IT priorities, progress, and challenges.
8. Reporting & Performance Management
- Oversee IT performance KPIs such as uptime, service response, and project delivery metrics.
- Prepare periodic reports for management on system performance, project progress, and compliance status.
- Recommend continuous improvement initiatives based on data insights and business feedback.
