MANAGER IT/Odoo

The Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Manager IT/Odoo to lead our Information Technology function and spearhead the company’s digital transformation journey. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in the implementation, customization, and integration of Odoo ERP across all business units. The ideal candidate should possess proven, practical experience in deploying Odoo-based solutions, assessing business requirements, and ensuring seamless integration of various Odoo modules to create a cohesive and efficient digital environment. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic vision, and operational leadership to build a scalable and future-ready IT ecosystem.

Required Qualification & Experience

a) Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

b) Minimum 5 years of IT leadership experience, with at least 3 years focused on Odoo ERP implementation related platforms and development (Community and/or Enterprise editions).

c) Proven track record in delivering end-to-end Odoo projects from scoping and configuration to custom module development and go-live support.

d) Strong hands-on expertise in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and Odoo’s ORM and framework architecture.

e) Solid understanding of ERP best practices, business process optimization, and change management.

f) Experience managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), cybersecurity protocols, and data backup/recovery systems.

g) Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

Job Descriptions, included but not limited to:

a) Lead the company wide digital transformation strategy, with Odoo ERP as the central platform for integrating Accounts, finance, sales, inventory, HR, and customer service operations etc.

b) Oversee the full lifecycle of Odoo implementation from requirement gathering and system design to deployment, customization, training, and post-go-live support.

c) Develop and extend Odoo modules using Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL to meet unique business workflows and compliance needs.

d) Manage the entire IT infrastructure, including network systems, cybersecurity, cloud services, data governance, and enterprise applications.

e) Build and mentor a high performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

f) Collaborate with department heads to translate business challenges into scalable digital solutions powered by Odoo and complementary technologies.

g) Ensure seamless integration* between Odoo and third-party systems.

h) Monitor system performance, security, and user adoption, driving iterative enhancements based on feedback and analytics.
