Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- Master's (18 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university, preferably in Education, Management, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field with 5 years of relevant experience in academic operations, program coordination, or administrative management, preferably within a university or large educational institution.
- Demonstrated experience in handling official documentation, such as minute sheets, internal memos, and approvals in a structured environment.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in higher education institutions or with international donor-funded educational programs.
- Experience working in the Pakistani education sector with exposure to both public and private sector dynamics.
- Background in technology adoption for education, digital innovation, or capacity-building initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the GM Operations in day-to-day management of the digital course production process, including coordination of logistics, timelines, and quality checks.
- Prepare and process official documentation such as minute sheets, IONs (Inter-Office Notes), and other administrative files in compliance with NUST protocols.
- Act as the liaison between ConnectEd and NUST departments, ensuring timely communication, faculty coordination, and resolution of academic and operational queries.
- Track and maintain project records, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with institutional audit requirements.
- Support in internal quality assurance processes related to course development and platform management.
- Assist in event coordination, internal reviews, and collaborative meetings with stakeholders within NUST.
- Monitor operational workflows, flag issues, and recommend improvements to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Provide regular updates and reports to GM Operations on progress, risks, and support requirements.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of academic and institutional administrative processes, including documentation, approvals, and interdepartmental coordination.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple documentation streams and communications efficiently.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication, ensuring clarity and professionalism in internal and external correspondence.
- Ability to use office productivity tools (MS Office, Google Workspace) and project management software to track tasks and documentation.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and quality assurance in all operational processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with faculty, departments, and administrative teams across NUST.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, or blended learning models.
- Familiarity with platforms like Coursera, edX, Moodle, or similar online learning environments.
Training/Certification:
- Additional certification or training in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2), Operations Management, or Education Technology.
Terms and Conditions:-

- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
