Job Summary
The Manager of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. This includes managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining inventory, and optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for the food service industry and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day operations, implementing and maintaining operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth running and compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
· Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and ensuring quality control, while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
· Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, scheduling shifts, managing labor costs, and conducting performance evaluations to provide feedback and foster a positive work environment.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service, promptly handling customer complaints, and responding to online reviews and feedback.
· Assist in budget preparation and cost management, monitor financial performance, implement cost-control measures, and prepare reports on sales, expenses, and profitability.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities, develop strategies to increase the customer base, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
· Work with chefs and kitchen staff to develop and update menu items, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation, and monitor food costs to adjust pricing as necessary.
· Oversee the use of restaurant management software, ensure POS systems are functioning correctly, train staff, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and customer experience
Requirements:
· Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration or a related field
· 5 – 6 years proven experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar role.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
· Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month
