Manager Purchase - Trims

Karachi, Pakistan

We are hiring an experienced and proactive Purchase Manager – Trims to manage the end-to-end procurement of trims and accessories required for denim garment production. The role requires strong vendor management, negotiation skills, and the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle procurement of trims & accessories such as labels, tags, threads, buttons, zippers, rivets, snaps, polybags, cartons, and other packaging materials.

· Develop and maintain a strong supplier base (local & international) to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and timely delivery.

· Review and process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in alignment with production requirements.

· Monitor supplier performance, evaluate quality standards, and resolve any supply chain issues.

· Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and lead times with vendors.

· Coordinate closely with production, merchandising, and quality teams to align material availability with production schedules.

· Prepare cost analysis reports and maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier agreements.

Qualification & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

· 7–10 years of relevant experience in purchasing trims/accessories within the denim or garment industry.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Business One) and MS Office.
