We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell MV-75, part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor.

This position is fully onsite in Fort Worth, TX. Strategic Sourcing

In this role, you are directly responsible for Supply Chain Management (SCM) sourcing efforts connected for the development and execution of SCM support strategies to help execute the FLRAA (Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft) Program. The Manager will lead a team in the development and execution of sourcing strategies throughout the phases of FLRAA Program timelines and act as the primary communicator in providing support to all levels of direct and interdependent stakeholders and have direct reports. What you’ll be doing as a Manager of Strategic Sourcing

Manage all SCM efforts for all phases of the MV-75 Program.Lead procurement activity and act as a liaison between SCM and the FLRAA Program to drive communication and execution.Establish and lead sourcing strategy, quality, delivery, and cost performance within the supply base.Develop and implement supplier roadmaps, capacity analysis, and strategic initiatives to support small business objectives and major sales campaigns.Initiate and execute long-term agreements with suppliers while identifying and implementing strategies for cost out opportunities.Develop overall short and long-term supply chain strategies within Program phases and timeline.Develop work assignments and execution of AOP objectives for team while cultivating and growing talent within team. Define and manage resources as business needs arise.Establish and communicate high level SCM objectives and approach, coordinate contracting execution and implementation of specific procurement strategies, establish priorities, assign workloads, coordinate with support functions (legal, subcontract eval, finance, etc.), interpret and review contract provisions for accuracy and revisions, work cooperatively and jointly with stakeholders to provide quality, seamless customer service.Responsible for compliance and adherence with stated policies and procedures to maintain a certified procurement system under the FAR. EAR and ITAR compliance must be maintained with volume of FMS and international (offset) market opportunities.Work closely with SCM Operation Teams at various locations to ensure purchase orders (PO) are aligned with demand and issued within lead time to support on time delivery of parts.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring To this Role

Substantial contract experience with the DoD acquisition process and military sustainment in the aerospace industry.Strong analytical /forecasting /modeling skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functionally.Proficient knowledge in supply chain operational tactics, strategies, as well as systems related to purchase order transactions and contracts/subcontracts administration. What you need to be successful

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.

10 years of strategic sourcing and supply chain related professional experience with direct experience performing key procurement activities such as commodity strategy development, contract writing & administration, supplier negotiation, purchase order placement and/or order management.

Prior leadership skills in coaching, developing, and mentoring a team to obtaining success and meeting required company goals.
