Marketing Specialist Part-Time | 5-Week Contract | $800 Stipend

We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Specialist to support Flatbush Community Theater's marketing efforts over a five-week period. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact.

Commitment 8 hours per week for 5 weeks (40 hours total), structured approx as follows:

• 2 hours per week working directly with our Executive Director
• 2 hours per week independently
• 4 hours per week working with current web designer

Responsibilities

• Learn our programs and develop a cohesive marketing workflow tailored to our mission and audience
• Create engaging visual content using Canva or similar graphic design tools
• Manage and update our website using Squarespace
• Collaborate with leadership to align marketing efforts with organizational goals

Qualifications

• Prior experience creating and maintaining marketing workflow for any type of agency/ organization
• Proficiency in Canva or other graphic design platforms
• Experience with Squarespace or similar website builders
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Passion for community theater

Compensation $800 stipend, paid at $20/hour over the course of the engagement.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
