Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (required).
Experience

2–4 years of progressive experience in vendor management and Procurement.

Vendor Management
-
Register new vendors and collect all required documents
-
Help choose the best suppliers for university needs
-
Check vendor paperwork and work with other departments to approve it
-
Monitor how well vendors perform and create reports
-
Build good relationships with suppliers
-
Periodically review and update the approved vendor list
Data Management
-
Create and update vendor and material information in computer systems
-
Work with different departments to confirm product details are correct
-
Make sure all vendor and material data is accurate and up-to-date

Ensure confidentiality and security of all procurement data
Cross-Departmental Coordination

Connect with other related internal departments for smooth on boarding of vendors.

Support departments in identifying and engaging qualified vendors.
Reporting & Compliance

Write clear reports for management

Follow all university policies and regulations and help improve processes and reduce risks

Assist with internal and external audits as required
