Mechanical Draftsman (Egypt, Cairo)

I am partnering with my client to hire a talented Mechanical Draftsman with proven experience in mechanical systems and MEP coordination. The role will be based in Cairo (Maadi office) , working closely with their main office in Dubai on high-end projects across the region.

Requirements

Diploma/Certification in Mechanical Drafting (or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years’ experience (preferably in consultancy or design firms)

Strong expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows

Knowledge of mechanical systems for swimming pools, water features, and related systems

Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

Prepare precise mechanical drawings for swimming pools, water features, and associated systems

Collaborate with design engineers to produce coordinated MEP drawings in Revit

Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and local codes

Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute to BIM model updates

Review and update shop drawings & as-built documentation

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with Revit & BIM coordination platforms (e.g., Navisworks)

Location: Cairo, Maadi (office-based)

Working Hours: Same as UAE office hours

Days Off: As per UAE weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
